Apparently, I've lost most of me,
Not one of them informed me,
I've been left on the side of the road,
And kicked around by many a poltergeist.

Sanctify that laugh of yours,
You don't deserve it.

You left the dog barking,
While the car was still on,
Good God, did any of them ever care?
Truly? No, this had to have been a forgery,
Simply, "You should know," doesn't cut it,
My sincerest apologies, but you're another,
I want to go home, with just a scraping of my tears,
May I finally find this diminutive stretch,
Across the celestial airwaves.

Sanctify that pitiful thought of yours,
I don't care what you've been through.

I need to transform your mind,
Because I need you,
You're the closest to home,
Because I need you,
Wishing you'd just see,
Because I need you,
Nothing is hard here, just hard to see,
Because I need you,
Love is all that's been left for me,
Because I need you,
At least what's left of…
Because I need you.

Somewhere else, a grove's grown for me,
The petals beneath all the trees beckon the waves,
Maybe in fact, this never had meaning to it,
Could you at least try and come along,
See that small one, over there?
I made it all for you,
Attempt to feel that striking of waves,
The beckons of all these beautiful and glorious patterns,
But don't be afraid of the dark,
All that's held tightly enough for sinners is where I fit in.

Take it all with simple words,
It all must go in,
For this entire time,
Searching for those perfect words,
But they've already been said,
Not for you, you still must sanctify that laugh,
For just her, soft and only her,
Lost and lonely her,
She's just as he always said, just like heaven.
There's nothing more to say.
